Cleaning

We get that a vintage patch hat is a bit of an investment and you want to get as much use out of them as possible. Any hat will eventually get dirty from sweat, oils, and the elements.

  • If it's really hot, or if you perspire a lot, rinse your hat with warm water and air dry.
  • Use a mild detergent and toothbrush to spot clean any stains and allow hat to air dry.
  • For the most thorough cleaning submerge your hat into a bucket filled with warm, soapy water (only need a couple drops of soap). Use a very mild detergent or soap for this. Allow the hat to soak for a few minutes and then swirl it around. Pull hat out, rinse and air dry.
